Love Lands End

I just purchased a down packable jacket for the winter. I LOVE it. I've been looking for the right one for 2 seasons. I also love their tank tops. I'm fortunate to have a store in the area so shopping is a breeze. I did return an online order and that way easy peezey as well. I had to exchange it for a smaller size. Yeah. They also have great canvas bags. Not sure why the bad reviews.

Lands End refunds are slow and promos are a scam.

I have been a long time Lands End customer and always appreciated the quality for the price if you can manage to get a sale. Recently, they bombard you with promo codes and it is always a rush. When I called customer service to get a price adjustment they would not budge. It takes so long to make a return and catch the promo that works with the items you want. I feel like I will take a break from Lands End and save the money. Not happy with them at all right now at all. You would think they would appreciate a long time customer.

Terrible service

Everything is overpriced and they are the most inefficient online seller I have ever come across. Anything I have tried to order always takes about 2+ months. The disclaimer about embroidery requiring 18 extra days is absurd. A company this size and the prices being what they are and it takes three weeks to embroider the school emblem? We need more options when it comes to school uniforms. I'm fairly certain this is the only way they are still in business.

THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING FROM LANDSEND.COM

In a world where nearly 50% of online retailers offer free returns and handle them promptly, Lands' End has a POLICY of excessive delays in processing and refunding returned merchandise. I learned this during my recent first-time purchase, which will be my last. The company charges $6.95 for the use of a return label AND takes approximately ONE MONTH to issue a return-refund. My USPS tracking report shows the merchandise I sent back (didn't fit) was delivered to Lands' End on Sept 6,2022. When I contacted them on Sept 9 for an update, I was told the merchandise was not even entered into their system. That didn't happen until four days later, when customer care associate Sue H further shared, "Our processing timeline in our returns department can typically take between 2 and 3 weeks. We have reviewed your order history and do show that two items are processing today, so will not be fully completed until early next week." Bottom line: it takes Lands' End 8 to 10 days just to enter a return, then another 2 to 3 weeks to finish it, for a total of 30+ days before the money is refunded. This is a calculated policy that punishes customers who return merchandise and benefits Lands' End. Shameful.

No, Thank you

There are other options to order from with more polite customer service. The merchandise is a little expensive for the quality.

Ordered Uniforms a Month Ago... Still Waiting

Their business is awful and I hope Amazon takes them out. I put in an order over a month ago and it still hasn't arrived because they go by "business days." My child will outgrow their uniform before this $#*! arrives.

Lands' End is the best for Tall Sizes

Lands' End is the best place for Tall sizes. They actually carry many of their best styles in Tall, including the more stylish fitted cuts, so I don't look like I'm wearing a baggy shirt. I definitely recommend Lands' End for Tall people who need nice, modern options.

Very Happy with all Purchases

Buying online for at least 10 years with no problems. Quality clothing but not as good as prior years, Never any problem with returns or billing. My go-to place for quality clothes.

Clunky Website

This company stalks you to place a business order. Calls, emails, they never stop. But when you finally do place an order there is ALWAYS a problem. Out of stock, can't get access to our logo library etc. Don't call, wait time is over 6 minutes. This was my last order with Lands End.

Q:

Is Lands End clothing no longer sold online through the Sear's website?

Answer This Question

Q:

Do you have free shipping

A:

They charged me shipping on my order. (I no longer patronize them because they charge for shipping returns, even if the product is deficient.)

Answer This Question

Q:

Slightly over a year ago I purchased a Lands End men's down jacket at my local Sears store. Because our winter was so mild last year I did not wear this jacket. With the advent of winter in Indiana, I got the jacket out to wear and quickly that the jacket's plastic -way zipper had a mind of its own, opening spontaneously from the bottom whenever. Pretty exciting when it opens during a winter gust! I do not have a sales receipt for this jacket. Best case is having the zipper replaced by the guy who does my alterations. When I took the jacket to Sears recently the L/E rep told me without a receipt he could not help me; further, he had nothing on the floor that matched this 600 power jacket. Before I take it to the seamstress, however, I thought I would ask if L/E corporate would be willing to make it good.

Q:

I am looking for a set of summer bridesmate style dresses and I need a dozen of them. What I need to know is can they be easily returned if they do not fit appropriately. I get that returning a single dress is easy but returning a dozen can often be challenging. Also I do not want to be charged a return fee for each individual dress and separate shipping for each of them. Has anyone done this before from this store?

A:

Several years ago i ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses from LE. I had to send two back for a different size. The replacement dresses were a slightly different shade of the color. Then had to send all 5 dtesses back to get all same color. What a mess!

Q:

What's with Made in the USA? http://www.landsend.com/madeinusa/ I click on "Shop Durable Goods," and a page of 814 items comes up. The one I zoom in on, 173825-AH3 "Men's Tall Long Sleeve Super-T" says made in Jordan. Seems misleading, or am I missing something?

A:

Beware of Lands End's current "free" shipping scam. We get emails almost daily from Lands End offering discounts on certain items or even any item they carry and the have also been offering "free" shipping. Of course almost every online shopping site is offering free shipping right now. The difference between all other sites/sellers free shipping is that they will either give it to UPS, FedEX, or the USPS and those people make the actual delivery to your door in a few days. I'm assuming it is an effort to save money Lands End "free" ships packages via UPS BUT only to your closest major postal facility and drops all the "free" shipments there. It is then up to the USPS to sort everything and deliver the package to your home. This can result in a delay of from several days to a week or more. Our latest purchase was dropped at the sorting facility on 12/5. From there it needed to be sorted and delivered to the mail facility that handles home mail deliveries. Bottom line is that we didn't get the delivery until 12/9. That is after leaving the Lands End warehouse on! 2/2. I get shipments from LL Bean or Amazon purchases delivered in 2-3 days. The response we got after questioning Lands End was that if we want deliveries in 2-3 days we would have to pay for shipping. Considering the delivery times I get from other sellers offering free shipping, I think Lands End is misleading customer's expectations of "free" shipping. Come on Lands End, I want that big brown truck to bring my packages to my front door and want it to be REALLY free or you have lost a long time customer.
